COMPOSER FOR MEDIA

Hello! That's me.

As you can see, I'm a composer for media and have been since 2015. I grew up in Northern Virginia, just an hour from D.C, where I taught myself piano and composition from 2nd grade to college auditions. I was accepted to Shenandoah University and learned more about concert technique and practice while writing for professional chamber ensembles like Roomful of Teeth, Nordic Affect, and Sybarite5. After graduation, I combined that knowledge with my love of screen scoring and moved to Washington State (as close to LA as I could afford) to begin a freelance career as a composer for the big screen.

In the year I spent in Washington, I developed a portfolio of works and credits that got me accepted to NYU for my M.M in Screen Scoring. Since I've been back on the east coast, I've professionally composed and engraved for short films, TV, and trailers, finding strengths in production music, orchestration and creative and collaborative relationships.
